When you strip it all back on focus on the fullness and potential of today, and today alone, it makes it that little bit simpler to see the path that lay at our feet. Simplicity, I believe, is the key to change the world.

I am always amazed by what our human bodies can handle. Bones can shatter, yet within a small period of time they can mend. We can cut flesh, but soon will heal leaving little, if any trace. Amazing
….But when one’s internet connection is out for nearly two weeks…for some reason…we cannot cope!! My goodness, having no internet for a while was one of the hardest things i have ever had to deal with.
so, I am back. I will continue this blogging thing ans se where it takes me.

I’ve been hurt by bad communication.
I think we all have.
It’s amazing what can get lost in translation when communicating. A statement can be interpreted in various ways depending on how it is heard. One can read into the tone of ones voice, for example, and completely miss what is being said. Alternatively, one can hear 2nd hand chat and hear something, react to it etc, to later find that in reality things are not as bad as once thought.
Bad communication.
This passage of scripture is quite profound. Be quick to listen. In other words, it is our responsibility to ensure that we are doing all possible to listen to what is actually being said. There is at times a difference between what is said and what is heard.
Our listening is the important bit. Reaction is secondary.
How many times have a read too much into what someone has said, and gone onto react to something that wasn’t even there?!
How many times have I been hurt by someone reacting to something that I didn’t actually do or say?!
I’ve been hurt by bad communication.
I think we all have.
I will be quick to listen.

Its amazing that whenever you start to think that you have an understanding on something, you are quite quickly tested to put it into practice….
wisdom is gentle at all times, and willing to yeild to others.
